Academically, Dr. Wang is an expert in diagnosis and treatment of seronegative spondyloarthritis (ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis). Prior to found Garden State Rheumatology Consultants, she was a rheumatologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr.Wang has published many papers in leading rheumatology journals, including original research papers, review articles, and treatment recommendations; received awards such as SAA Young Investigator Award in axial SpA; presented at national and international conferences; lectured at internal medicine board review courses and rheumatology fellowship introductory courses; participated in multi-center clinical studies; and received grants from private foundations and NIH in the past.
