Runsheng Wang, MD, MHS, FACR

Dr. Wang is a board-certified rheumatologist with 10 years of experience in diagnosis and treatment of adult patients (age 18 and above) with arthritis and autoimmune conditions,  including joint pain, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, lupus, Sjorgren, scleroderma, myositis, vasculitis, etc (click HERE for the complete list of conditions treated).

Academically, Dr. Wang is an expert in diagnosis and treatment of seronegative spondyloarthritis (ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis).  Prior to found Garden State Rheumatology Consultants,  she was a rheumatologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.  Dr.Wang has published many papers in leading rheumatology journals, including original research papers, review articles, and treatment recommendations; received awards such as SAA Young Investigator Award in axial SpA; presented at national and international conferences; lectured at internal medicine board review courses and rheumatology fellowship introductory courses; participated in multi-center clinical studies; and received grants from private foundations and NIH in the past.
